Annual Pesticides Notification

The Healthy Schools Act of 2000 was signed into law in September 2020 and requires that all schools provide parents or guardians of students with notification of expected pesticide use on school sites. The WUHSD intends to use the following chemicals, in accordance with their labels for the control of ants, spiders, mice, rats, and roaches:

  • Alpine WSG

  • Advion Roach Gel / Advion Ant Gel

  • Advance Dual Choice ant bait

  • Contrac Ca

  • Essentria All Purpose Insecticide / Essentria Ic Pro

  • Masterline

  • Suspend SC .03%

  • Terimidor

Notice of individual pesticide applications will be posted in visible locations at the school site at least seventy-two hours in advance. Parents who would prefer to be personally notified prior to each application should submit a request to the Facilities Office (530) 633-3100 x159.
